I invoked his name to show how justice can prevail and thank God it did.

But man, what a helluva cost.

Cost to the taxpayers for sure but a hell of a pay out to Rittenhouse after the lawsuits.

that kid's mental health took an immeasurable toll.
He seems to have come out largely OK but I wouldn't wish that on anyone...million dollar payouts or not.

Not sure how bad the toll was on him but time and money will surely help him cope. There are many veterans of war that have coped for far less. There was a toll on mental health for sure but many have adapted quite well.

I'm not sure how big of a hit Rittenhouse's mental health took but he deserves what he wins in court.

enduring daily death threats and smeared with the worst possible slurs by network news and also a criminal by the P*TUS while staring life in prison in the face for almost 2 years is pretty bad. Fairly certain I would rather endure a deployment in a warzone than have a life sentence hanging over my head just for defending myself.

I'm willing to bet the threats he is/was going through will wane faster and be easier to cope with than being deployed for at least a year in a war zone.

Do you know what he's feeling or experiencing now, if so, how do you know? I haven't heard anything about him in quite a while.

250+ million dollars (Covington kid money) can sooth a lot of feelings and insulate one from threats. Once that happens it shuts down a lot of his problems.

Let the unhinging begin. Leaked Justice Alito draft on the overturning of Roe Vs Wade.

Also, it is a damn shame the SCOTUS has documents leaked. I hope they find who leaked it and prosecute them to the fullest.

yea, just saw that ^^^ .. the left/dems/socialists/Marxists (all one in the same) will go bonkers over this.. if true (or not) .. if this is the call on the case, will it effect the mid-terms ??

The U.S. Supreme Court will strike down the landmark ruling in abortion case Roe v. Wade, according to a draft majority opinion written by Justice Sam Alito.

“The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.”

“The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right,” Politico reported.
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes. The entire draft opinion can be read below:
