    on one of the other stations webpage the comment that got me most was "They should have tranquilized it and then just released it outside of town."

    A few years back I believe one was shot east of demoins near marengo Iowa

    Shoot them, you do not want an established breeding population of them. I am getting sick of finding lion kills almost every time im out in the woods.

    All I meant was it does not take long to go from "we may have a few in the region" to " we have an overpopulation problem" Barely 10 years ago our GFP hardly admitted we had any Mt. Lions and this year there is a quota of 100 and open season year round outside of the Black Hills. Do not get me wrong, I enjoy seeing them from time to time but I'm seeing them all too often.
