slight side bar; I wonder if grunting from tree stand height makes any difference in how quickly a buck vectors in on the sounds' origin- I was watching an episode of MW/Chasing November and this guy has the same buck come in to him 2x on the same day in different trees. Both times the buck came on a line directly to the base of his trees; the first time hunter never got a shot and ended up getting winded; the second he gets a shot and ends up killing the deer. I just wonder if being elevated makes it easier for the buck to zero in or if it wouldn't have mattered and had the hunters been on the ground the bucks would have come in the same way. Just that I've seen (mostly on TV) many a buck come in already looking up for the source of the sound.
We all should start a “Hunt the wind” movement to fight back all the stink some of these shows and companies have pushed on the hunting atmosphere. Try to get back to the hunting roots and etc that it was founded on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I probably laughed harder at that than it deserved; but hey Beavis and Butthead still makes me LOL so who am I to judge?
The next marketing scam to come lol https://cdn0.wideopenspaces.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/eaf79f4b4a947df7dd1e1513b367d387.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I coulda used that today...saw about 30 squirrels. Sure a lot were probably repeats but holy cow they were everywhere. Mostly big grays but a couple pineys. Should have brought my .22
This was reviewed in a 1998 issue of Field and Stream. It’s a blow up doll you leave in your stand to allow deer to get used to it. Lol
i think any of the Wildgame Innovations stuff is a joke... slime... scented strips (look pork rinds for striper fishing), foam & scented silly string, etc. WTF! And people buy it?! Corn coat, Schwaker, etc. There are products that work... and then there are gimmicks. But who am I to say...?
