i agree with everything here! on the first part i dont use dead down wind because a person told me to, i use it because when i did during bear hunting, i had a bear walk past me 10 yards from the blind stop stick his nose in the air, then turn to the bait and go eat. not being winded by a bear is good enough for me. and i hate when people say "smoked him" to. it annoys me.

I am going to try some of this next season. If it doesn't work in the deer woods maybe it will work at home..or in the supermarket, gas station, work, whatever.

nope sure didnt. All my local sport shop carried was dead down wind, and scent-away (i thinki its called) and with scent away i kept getting winded. i never started watching hunting shows on tv till about a year ago, maybe a year and half ago. till never never seen outdoor channel, sportsmanship channel, bowhuntordie nothing. been using dead down wind for 5 years now.
My dad sent me one of these a few years back. I put it on for some practice shots, but it never made it to the woods.
