I’m curious about and would like to know about podcasts. Does anyone listen to them? Is there an app to use to listen to them? What are some you listen to?

Morning sir! They are fantastic. You use a app Yes. If you have a apple it's in your music under podcast. If you use a android you will need a app for it. I use YouTube music and then click podcasts

I listen to most of mine through Spotify these days. When Rogan moved, I was forced to, and found it easier to listen to everything in one spot.

You can also use Apple Podcasts if you have an iPhone. I used to use an app called Stitcher back in the day, which is still around.

Your first podcast should definitely be The Pinch Point. I heard it's awesome. :)

I use Spotify also, but apple also had a player shipped with the phone. Any topic you can imagine or want to learn about...the other thing I like about Spotify is you can alter the playback speed...which drives my wife crazy as I listen to most podcasts at 2x speed...

I'll listen in the car, on the train and occasionally in the office. Mostly hunting related content for me.

I'll have to give the "pinch point" a listen! The only hunting-related podcast I can tolerate is Truth From the Stand. Even that one sometimes the audio quality of the person being interviewed is un-listenable (for me), but for the most part is pretty good if you're a public land hunter. He'll interview guys who hunt big woods on public land. The ads are annoying though, but I think it is the broadcast platform he uses. My good friend does a model railroad podcast on Streamyard and only has one 30-second ad at the beginning by choice.

Yes, I got it working fine. Using the Apple Podcasts. Following pinch point and a Joke of the day podcast. Jokes that make me groan mostly but once in a while there’s a laugh or two. Also looking for an ice fishing podcast. It’s hard to pick the good ones right off. Need to listen to a few in order to get a fel for them. Could wind up spending way too much time podcasting.
    Thanks for the help.

The way I heard it by Mike Rowe. Search that. It's great.

There used to be a late night radio talk show about UFOs, haunting, and other macabre stuff. I can’t remember the name or why I was driving around so late listening but I did enjoy it. Host sounded like John Lithgow if I recollect correctly. Anyone recall it. Maybe it’s a podcast now.

That’s it. I recognize Art Bell as the original host. I see there is a podcast. Even one called Art Bell tape vault.
    Thanks

I like Cody D'acquisto's podcast. Granted, most white tail podcasts are just theoretical talk between a host and guest or just the host rambling on about a hypothetical situation. I've tried to listen to John Eberhart's but it's mostly bashing brands; but the man knows how to get ontop of good bucks. Dan Infalt seems to be pretty good at laying out a true event and how he went about it. I get pretty turned off by several of these though due to the unpaid advertising throughout the entire show but that's just old Outdoor Channel habits dying hard.

New here, so don't judge me by my post count
