Anyone here listen to any Podcasts? I know they've been around for quite some time now, but I never really got into them until the past month or so. I finally got sick of the horrible broadcast radio options here in Chicagoland, and didn't feel like paying for another Sirius subscription. So I started to dabble into the world of Podcasts, as so far I've been pleasantly surprised. There's everything from comedy to tech talk to hunting, politics, sports, etc. I've mostly been listening to comedy stuff like Adam Corolla, Joe Rogan and "The Nerdist". Although I did check out a few of the hunting ones as well. Peterson's Bowhunting has a monthly show they do which isn't bad. On my commute to/from work I can listen to an entire show about bowhunting rather than the slanted political diatribe that's on local AM stations. Seems pretty good to me. Anyone else? Am I alone with my new found friend?
I've been an avid podcast listener for years now. I fill my day at work with them. There's a couple of general talk radio shows and sports shows I like to listen to daily. I recently added a couple of more, but I don't think I'll have time to listen to them on a daily basis. My regular shows are Lex and Terry, The Tony Kornheiser Show, ESPNU College Football and Swain and Rucker. I've been trying out The Dan Patrick Show and Screen Rant Underground.
I listen to several everyday and have been for a long time now. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2
This is pretty much me too. I've been trying to repurpose my down time so I'm listening while I workout, drive, mow, etc.
I listen to Joe Rogan's from time to time. Use to liisten to Adam Corolla back when he was on the radio, but haven't listened to any of his podcasts.
I listen to some talk radio podcasts and really like how convenient they are. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
I listen to the Joe Rogan experience. Good comedy & he even had one podcast with Steven Rinella from Meat Eater!
Sweet! Thank you sir. Anyone that wants to download Bowhunt or Die to watch in iTunes or on their iPod/iPhone check out the link below. Now you can put me in your pocket and take me with you wherever you go. :D http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/bowhunt-or-die/id552469723?mt=2 I'm hooked on the Adam Corolla podcast right now. This week he's on vacation so they replayed a few shows from 2009 - one with Jimmy Kimmel and one with Seth McFarlane. Hilarious stuff.
That's what I love about podcasts so far - they're very specialized in nature. No matter what you're into it seems like there's a podcast that talks about it. I'm tossing around the idea of doing a monthly bowhunting audio podcast. Maybe get some of our staff and forum people involved to talk bowhunting, do some interviews with Sponsors and companies in the archery/hunting industry, etc. I've listened to what's out there and I feel like there's a big void in talking about actual bowhunting techniques rather than just product plugs or "reviews".
If anyone is interested in downloading the show in iTunes - here's how you do it. http://www.bowhunting.com/blog/2012/8/14/bowhunt-or-die-now-on-itunes/
