I know everyone hears it all the time, some say I dont need one of those things I have never fallen before. Well guys I have already heard of two people I know this season that have fallen from there tree stands, one of which is paralized from the waist down. Guys this is the real deal, the last thing I wanna hear is another person fell out of a stand who wasnt wearing a safety system........PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Take this into concidderation if you dont own one get one. Dont let your next hunt be your last !! Remember shoot straight, hunt hard, and most importanly hunt safe........

X1000! Fell 21ft last year and was not injured. I know I was in the extreme, extreme low percentile for coming out of the ordeal unscathed. Will never climb another tree not hooked in.

Every year we pound this into people's heads and on this forum we're either real good about safety, or we've been lucky. Take the time to get others outside the forums to wear theirs! It's mandatory on my property, you want to hunt, you wear a safety harness and hook up while in the stand.

My dad has fallen out of a tripod before, but never a stand. He's lucky because he did not use a safety vest up until last year. I will definitely be getting one myself for this coming season. It really is important and we all tend to forget about it

Guys, I have worked in hospitals for more than twenty years. In that time I see at least one guy a year, and sometimes more, who have fallen from a stand. Everyone of them never thought they would fall but they did. The reasons they fell varied from falling asleep to equipment failure to just being careless. But not one of them would have fallen to the ground had they been wearing a safety harness.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim
