Better that The Who's terrible performance last year.

The thing that slays me with these halftime shows... and really with most entertainment at these big sporting events is..... they're not geared to the audiences. Really, who was sitting in the seats at the Super Bowl. It wasn't young punk rappers or hip hop people. Most of the seats are filled with 50 - 70 year old business types or CEO's or whatever. They listen to Wall Street Week and Lou Dobbs. They damn sure don't listen to screaming and yelling from some guy with a plastic hat. They all left for snacks and a drink at the executive lounge. LOL They would have rather had the Beach Boys or maybe Willie Nelson or someone who has talent.

I dont even listen to that kind of music much, but I would definitely choose them over that "music" they had tonight. I left the room when they were playing

Except for Slash, that was the worst half time show ever. I'd rather have watched the wardrobe "malfunction" over and over for 20 minutes than that. :(

It would have been cool in 2008. Pop don't age. Meaning a pop song that was cood 3 years ago....sucks now.

David, I agree with you 100%. I was asking my wife who these people were, and even she didn't really know except for the bands name.

You guys do realize you don't have to watch it, right? I can't ever remember seeing a good superbowl halftime show...ever. I watch 30 seconds, realize its terrible again this year, and turn the channel or do something else.

TVs have remotes, and you guys have legs.

DVR? TiVo? Or you could have watched it an infinite number of times on the Internet.

Thanks for the info. It was kind of hard to do at the place I was at with 20 other people watching. I suppose I could have stood around outside the guys house in knee deep snow............. oh well, hindsight.

Maybe next year have a superbowl party at a house with more than one room?

Yeah, It was at my buddy's man cave. One big room attached to his garage. I'll try to get them to move it to a house next year. ;)

Thanks Greg, I appreciate the effort.

See, here is a guy trying to find a solution, instead of whining on the internet.

Yes, the Black Eyes Peas sucked. Everybody should have known that before the halftime show aired. But...to their credit, the sound was awful as well. Not just their voices.

I thoroughly enjoyed Usher's grand performance. I think he said "Oh my god" twice and called it a day.

I almost vomited on my wife when I saw Slash. And then, of course, Fergie goes on to sing quite possibly the worst song of all time. I had to leave the room at this time because my wife singing and dancing and grinding on the chair pretending it was Slash.

I don't think there has been a halftime show that atleast one demographic has not hated. Either the old people hate the new pop singers, or the young people hate the old classic rock singers. I think people watch just so they can complain about it. It's fun.

It would have been a much better show if Fergie was naked.
