Do you play on your phone, check e-mails, check BHC, etc. while taking a deuce?

If not, do you consider it OK? Or, do you consider it inappropriate and gross?

Bonus question. Is it okay to talk to someone on the phone while going #1? Or even better, is it okay to talk to someone while going #2?

I have made some observations about people doing this with more regularity at work.

    Discuss.

Playing on your phone is fine. Hell most read newspapers or magazines while doing it so why not digital news. It is very common in the fire house. But as far as making a call while doing 1 or 2 I think is kinda wrong cause nobody needs to hear that! LOL

No different then reading a mag or book while on the toilet, as far at work how would you know?

One thing i would like to say is i hate the whole smart phone thing, cant go to the movies anymore with out someone on the thing during the movie or a cell going off and instead of the person turning it off or leaving they just talk anyways.

I tell my wife i am going to throw her work blackberry out the window of the car someday these gadgets are taking over some-peoples lives these days, whats going to happen when the whole system takes a dump #1 or #2
guess we will have to try talking again.

How do I know? Sometimes I walk into the restroom to go #1 and while I'm going I can hear the guy next to me in the crapper typing away on his cell phone like crazy.

Sometimes when I'm on the crapper at work, some guy walks into the restroom talking on his phone, uses the urinal, and walks right back out all the time while talking to someone.

I must have a decent crapping system because I don't have time to do anything besides go #2. Pull pants down, DUMP, wipe....gone. I don't sit around in a crap smelling bathroom on a frigging phone or computer!

LMAO Brett! I will say that in my house with two boys, ages 5 and 2, it is the only room in the house I typically get any peace and quiet. So sometimes, I am not in a big hurry to be done. LOL

When I'm in a public/work bathroom, my phone goes on silent when I enter the stall. I will occasionally check the news, Facebook, BH.com, etc while on the porcelain but never make any calls. I will not talk on my phone in the restroom, ordering food, grocery store checkout, etc.

I DO have to have some sort of reading material while on the crapper at home too....shampoo bottles, tampon packages, and shaving cream literature get old after a while. :)

This is only considered appropriate if you.have 19 kids and counting as it affords the only opportunity to play on said smartphone :D

Absolutely play on my phone while crapping, it's what I do. I crap before most people wake up, so I do not talk while crapping. Crapping+Angry Birds=Good Morning. :)

Its way more sanitary than a magazine sitting on the floor that the previous 5 people have read while doing their deed.
