    Will this require drug testing?

Um...clearly that is a violation of the constitution (animal edition).

This is extreme, but I see them like I see Nazis.

Just because they have one or two ideas I can relate to, doesn't mean that I shouldn't fight them with all my stregth!

I can absolutely say that no, I don't agree with PETA on anything. To clarify, I don't condone dog fighting or cruelty to animals. Mike Vick got what he deserved. BUT, any group that violently demands their ideas be adherred to has no place, NO PLACE in my world, and by violence, they have burned research buildings, beaten people wearing fur, etc.

We can say we should try and educate these people about hunting, but they don't want to hear any of our ideas since we are neanderthals or worse. As hunters and outsdoorsmen/women we all understand stewardship of the animals we hunt, the trees we sit in, the fields we over look, the lakes we fish on, and yes there are booger hunters out there too, but we as part of the group detest their ways and try to teach/change those ways. PETA condones the viloent actions of their minions, in the past and today if you read their press releases (and Yes, I do read them, because I think we need to know our enemy).

It's curious that we as hunters don't expect or even want everyone to hunt, but we don't force our perspectives and beliefs on others. These people don't care WHAT they do to bring about their beliefs. They just want EVERYONE TO BOW TO THEIR WISHES, and the end justifies the means.

Call me harsh, but there is NOTHING I agree with them on.

I like this! If PETA were a country they would be demolished in a day.

All I said was they probably do some good in cases such as dogfighting, etc. BUT I've learned some things about them I never knew thanks to this thread.

If you guys think I am defending PETA...please think again. I thought I was clear about that...I think.

I know exactly where you're coming from Finch. I too learned a great deal from this thread and a number of other sources as I looked into them more.

I wish it was a cut and dry topic, but its not. I guess you really can't say you like some of the things they do, but it appears that anything they do has a hidden, or not really hidden, agenda. That agenda is to stop hunting in this country.

I too am in no way shape or form defending them. In fact, I probably hate them more now than I did when I first read this post. I guess I was naive to think that any organization such as this can do some good when in fact they're using their propaganda to push for issues they don't readily make public.

there is a big difference in the conservation and proper treatment of animals and the views that the nutjobs of PETA try to force onto others. in their eyes everything is wrong when it comes to animals.

I'm not one to spread rumors, but I heard Finch is the president of PETA. He has been masquerading as a hunter, even posting fake pictures, until he earned the trust of this hunting community. Then, he saw his opening. The weakness displayed in the poor-little-baby-fawn thread gave him his chance. That is how the PETA thread came to be.

So Donnie, or should I say Ingrid, are you going to come clean?

Am an interwebs :ninja:. Nothing gets passed me.

i don't know if someone hit this already, because i did not get through pages 2 and 3 of this thread, but this sentence right off the bat doesn't even make sense
"Quick kills are rare, and many animals suffer prolonged, painful deaths when hunters severely injure but fail to kill them"
how would they be suffering a painful "death" if we fail to kill them

PETA is a liberal bunch of people that want to restrict our rights ... just because there is a little good doesn't mean we need to hug up on them ... this country is going to hell at break neck speed ... this thread proves now messed up the liberal agenda has made some of you ... I HATE what they stand for .... this.k line item veto .... do you all realise how much crap gets into law so a bill that contains SOME good can be passed ... take off the blinders, guys .....
