My parents always told me to enjoy life while I'm young... This picture sums up my trip. What an amazing week with my best friends. Best time of my life that I will never forget.

Bumping this thread... Came upon an opportunity to travel to Costa Rica where we will only need to pay for our ticket there. The condo we are staying in is in Coco Beach, on the west side of the country. I understand that it is the rainy season right now, and the weather seems to confirm that, but everything I see is very vague (Thunderstorms listed every day).

Has anyone been during this time that could explain what the weather is actually like? Will it be like Hawaii with a few storms in the morning/evening and the sun comes out during the day, or is it actually raining/cloudy a large majority of the time?

I stayed just north of there at Dreams Las Mareas last March. It's definitely 100% rainforest there, so I'm guessing it's wet if it's rainy season.

When I was there, we would see rain and high winds some days but it would usually burn off by early afternoon. Service and the resort we went to was really good as well.
