    South Carolina season opened on Aug 15, some body prob already has one in the cooler waiting on sept 1 to enter it, Ga season opens Sept 10th and Ill be ready to sling one if the feeling suits me, Im more looking forward to Illinois opener on Oct 1st!!!

    Bruh! thanks for the confidence vote, but I very sincerely doubt I shoot the first doe. I only have a buck tag in AZ and WI opener isn't until Sept 17 and unless it's going to be a chilly weekend there is very little chance I pop a doe as I got no where to store her all weekend. I usually don't look to take a doe until early October.

    I did not get to hunt today, I picked up my bow but the tech didn't come in until late afternoon so I spent the afternoon getting tuned and such. I'll put my gear over on a separate 'blog' type thread.

    Now the question, was it a mule deer or whitetail? Think they have the option at both.

    I could be completely wrong and be someone from South Carolina. Only state I can think that is open. Scratch that, there are a few open on the west coast.
