You will never breed animal agression out of the breed, it will always be there no matter how hard it has tried to be masked. The issue is, a well bred APBT will NEVER have any human agression from the get go. They greet every person like they have known them forever.
Another 'nothing like this has ever happened before' sad story. http://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news...gate-fatal-dog-mauling-of-butler-county-woman
Once again, we can't help but ask, with so many kinds of dogs available, why do these stupid people keep pit bulls? The story is always the same. "Nothing like this has ever happened before." ANY PIT BULL, anywhere, is a tragedy waiting to happen.
Stupid is as stupid does, if the dog owner faced the same punishment as the dog then this genetic lick would end. It is quite obvious that education is not working, maybe we should call it the "Obama factor", forgive them , as they are to dumb to know that they are, that dumb.
Moral of the story: Chain up/kennel every pit bull and charge every owner who's pitbull has attacked another with manslaughter.
I am sure the dog's instinct took over and viewed something the grandmother was doing as a threat to the child which the pit bull's prerogative was to protect. The dog did EXACTLY was it was bred to do... I am amazed at the amount of denial there is from some when it comes to pit bulls. As the old saying goes, " play with fire long enough and eventually you're going to get burned."
“Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.” To many of them on this topic.
The really ironic thing about your post, is after tens of thousands of examples of these dogs maiming and killing children and adults alike with little or no warning, you question the wisdom of those who take these signs to heart, I'm not sure "idiot" is the term I would use to describe the defenders of these despicable beasts, I'm not sure there is one.
Put up for adoption??!! http://www.brainerddispatch.com/con...ses-genitals-rescuing-daughter-pitbull-attack
I don't know if that dog is a lost cause or not but it should not be adopted out to anyone but an experienced dog trainer.
I've hurdled many a fence to get away from loose pitbulls that have started charging. My buddy actually had to shoot two of them to death on duty when they charged him and there was no way out.
