Shot a nice doe yesterday morning from the ground. She spotted me as I drew at 30 yards but couldn't get the wind on me. When I released she took a step back from the front leg and turned and I hit the shoulder. I switched this season from the mayhem hunters to the piledriver hunters and I am glad. That arrow, tipped with a killzone, punched right through that shoulder, took out both lungs and the broadhead even made through the hide on the other side. She ran full out for 15 yards, stumbled another 10 and fell over right in sight. Needless to say I was impressed. The doe wasn't small either. She dressed out 150 lbs. Pic showing the exit wound. I meant to take a pic of what it did to the shoulder after I had it skinned but forgot.
