It has been a while since I have posted, but maybe some of you will remember the piebald 10 pt that I took a couple of years ago. I figured I would post some pictures of the deer. He is almost finished, the base is getting worked on right now, adding a barbwire fence, and some grasses etc. and staning the wood on the base. It came out exactly like I imagined and I couldnt be happier.
I think it was seven years of good luck haha, shot my biggest deer last year, and with the bow to boot. Just wanted to say thanks everyone. Hopefully the finished product will be coming home this week.
That is amazing. great job! I have a buddy who shot a fallow deerin IL a few years back. it belonged to a farmer; however, it got loose and they could not catch it, so the DNR said that they can mait with whitetail, so come fall it was open season for the fallow deer. needless to say it walked under my buddies stand all spotted up like a fawn with antlers. it is now a full body mount as well. great mount.
