My neighbor was out walking to his stand the other day and saw this buck locked up with another dead buck. Walked up and put him out of his misery at about 5 yards. Decent 10 and a decent 9, see you if you notice the huge brow tines on the deer with the body cut off! DSCN1512.jpg DSCN1511.jpg DSCN1510.jpg DSCN1509.jpg

Brow tines are cool looking. Too bad they got locked up. I hate seeing that. Had a neighbor a few years ago that found a couple of big bucks locked up. Both dead when he found. Coyotes hadn't gotten to them yet. He was thinking about trying to get a mount made, but I don't think he ever did. Probably would have been tough job for the taxi man.

I would have had both mounted together just like that on a pedastal mount.

That's pretty awesome. What was the situation on tagging it?

That's crazy! You see this stuff come up quite a bit now it seems like... sad to see two nice bucks "go to waste" like that but if I ever found two nice ones like that I would definitely get them mounted locked up together.

That is both pretty cool but also sad to see one die like that. It will make a sweet looking mount.
