Very cool! So what species of game do you hunt with your air rifle? Any pics?

Beautiful country! Yes, what can you hunt there with air rifle? Most of our small game seasons just ended here so there is nothing left to shoot with air rifle except groundhogs now.

I shoot rabbit, crow, rats, and squirrel. Not much else is legal to shoot with an air rifle, but there is no season, so we can shoot year round.

Those animals would be fun, especially all year. I can hunt fox all year in my county, even at night. I plan on getting into that much more.

In the 60s, for some reason it was made illegal to hunt with a bow, however, it is perfectly legal to hunt with an arrow:confused:

How about spear? Just tell the authorities that it's an arrow on steroids. "Honest Constable, it's nothing but an arrow to match my massive arms, it is."

Can you use an atlatl to propel the arrows or does the monarchy just want you to kill the rodents and not the good meat?

U.K and Norway...only here in Norway airguns is illegal for hunting as well. But there is hope; there will be a hearing in Norway this year, trying to get bowhunting legal again. Fingers crossing!!!!

    Nice hunting ground though!

Hunting with a slingshot is legal, so a few guys have built a slingbow.

But the legality of those is a grey area.

I can't imagine not being able to hunt big game or even a dang ferral hog. I guess that's why Scandanavians come to North America to hunt polar bears and the like. I was talking to this guy the other day that has hunted just about everything somewhere. He was telling me that probably this year the importation of a polar bear hide into the US will be outlawed. Yes, you can still go shoot one... I say (ONE)... but you can't bring it home. Someone from Norway can go to the same location and shoot 2 legally. The polar bear isn't in trouble as much as his environment is in trouble. The polar cap is melting at an alarming rate. Polar bears are becoming crowded. The US in it's wisdom says they're endangered... but numbers are up. So, a Norweigen can kill two to reduced numbers. Crazy lack of consistancy.

I find it ironic that, in a place that is famous for the bow and arrow, that bow hunting would not be legal.

Maybe you should look into an Atlatl. Sounds like it would be legal.
