Pictures from the "sanctuary"

Nice pics but it's hard being gayer than Ferg but I think you did it.

 

The camera that we use is a sony handy cam dcr-sr 45 30gb harddrive. You can pic one up for around 300 hundred bucks.

 

I was thinking about picking the sony DCR-SX40 up for $269.00.

 

I just picked up that camera lastweek. So far I am really liking it. Found out that you can't add an external microphone on it though. Little disappointed in that. But other then that it has been great. The 8gb flash drive is kind of small but I will be adding a 16gb memory stick to it for additional footage.

 

I just want it for taking summer video footage of bucks. How far do you think it can zoom?

 

It's nice that it is a 60X zoom but I haven't been able to use it yet since I haven't had my tripod with me. Can't hold the camera when it is zoomed in that much. Slightest movement is magnified and you can't see anything. But really liking the camera. Hoping to get out and do some filming tomorrow night!

 

Anyone else noticed that little buck looks to be wanting to grow another set of brow tines? or am I just imagining things? Probably FD's son...btw new cam going out tomorow. had to ship it back.

 

Actually looking at that model you are talking about getting it has only 4gb flash memory. I don't know if you have a Sam's Club near you but they have the 8GB flash version for $241. I went to get one but they were all out in the entire chicagoland area. May want to check before you get the other model.
