Decided to frost seed some Mammoth red clover on last season's rye, oats, radish and AWP mix. The rye plots will be rotated to brassicas this year. Mammoth red clover is an annual that if tilled in can add up to 200lbs of nitrogen per acre to the soil for the next crop. Exactly what turnips and radish love!

Last years brassica plots will be seeded in oats and mammoth clover this spring once soil temps rise to the recommended temp. Then they will be tilled again and my winter rye mix will be planted around Labor Day.

Now is the time to get those minerals out also! I replenished my minerals stations from last year. The deer love this stuff!

Looking good, that is my plan for this week as well. A little muddy right now to get the tractor out though.

You guys really do suck, it snowed well over 5 inches again today. We will have snow on the ground through the 2nd week of April at this rate.

We probably wont be able to frost seed here until mid August the way it's going. The crap just keeps coming.

That amount of snow would drive me crazy!
I definitely need to take the chainsaw in and block off some of the trails. Most plots have 8-12 trails coming to the plots. Would like to block at least half of those. The biggest plot is a little over 1/2 acre

It is driving us crazy. I need to get working on stuff. Instead I am just at a standstill. Frustrating.
