Picking your stand location for the first week of the season

I'm a deer hunter. I like killing deer, so only yearlings are safe. I'll shoot the first adult doe that comes into my range. I pass up small "legal" bucks in hopes of a decent one. Monsters in my area are rare. I just love being on stand and just watching deer, regardless of how many I kill. It's the solitude, I love the solitude!
And yes, I'm like any other bowhunter, my goal is to someday kill a truely BIG buck.
