Hello! I'm going to be retiring from the IL Army National Guard in May this year and am purchasing a bow to join the many folks that enjoy the outdoors and hunting! I'm currently planning on purchasing a Bear Encounter as I have a draw length of 31.5" and it severly limits my options for entry-level bows - i.e. $500-600, RTH. I've been lurking for a few months here and have enjoyed the honest comments and "brand loyalty" as I understand that you don't find a bow - IT finds you! I look forward to being a newbie for awhile and hope to be posting picts later this fall.
