Today I bought some replacement blades for my Rage 2 blades. It took me forever to get that little bit holding the blades in out. It got me thinking, either I need to buy a more user friendly broadhead, or a fixed blade. The only reason why I would linger away from the fixed blade is because I heard you have to tune your bow to the broadhead, not the field point. There's 2 things bad about that, I don't feel like sharpening the broadheads after every time I shoot, (I shoot A LOT!) and because I use my hunting bow in competitions too. But I'll take any recommendations.

I feel like when you broad head tune you are tuning your bow to have the best arrow flight period...it will help you shoot both field points and broad heads well. I want my bow to shoot a bare shaft, field point, and broad head same POI at 20 yards and BH and FP way beyond. with that said I have a grab bag in my quiver my first arrow has a slick trick mag, my second has a grim reaper, I got one rage 2 blade and one shwacker too. When I buy more it will be more grim reapers or slick tricks or perhaps QAD exodus.

Dump the mechanicals.......especially the Rage. My experience with them is they are as soft as they are over-hyped. I switched to Slick Trick Magnum 100 and have killed 2 deer so far this year with them. They group with my field points as far as I can shoot and they are one wicked a$$ed broadhead.
