Hey all, I'm thinking about picking up a Carter Just B Cuz this weekend but I am really trying to find a handheld release that utilizes a finger other than thumb or index...I've heard there are releases that are pinky finger actuated but have had no luck finding it. Any input would be much appreciated.
Look at the Carter Ember, they can be set up for thumb or 4th finger. The big thing is to find one that fits well in your hand and that can be a real problem since they are expensive and shops tend not to stock a wide array of them.
Yeah, my local shop sells a few but not many...I shot the Carter Just B Cuz and like it but I checked out the Ember and really dig the ring finger set up. My cousin had one hand milled for him that is ring finger actuated and it felt great... I may just have to see if my shop can get it...if not, I may have to order it online. Thanks Kodiak
I may be taking a drive there on Saturday to try one out...it's about a 2.5 hour drive, but I'd rather be sure than order it and not like it.
Damn! I'd love to be able to drive there. I'd likely make that 2.5 hour drive every weekend until I was broke!
So I bought my release today...the TRU Ball ST 360. It was a toss up between this one and the Carter Ember but I must say the ST feels great. Thanks for the input fellas.
