This will be my first year using arrow wraps. I'm sticking with my trusty ACC 3-49/390s for both my primary and backup rig. My primary rig arrows are cut 28 3/8", Fluorescent green/white fusion 2.1" vanes, standard G-nock/Uni-bushing with 125gr 4 blade GrizzTricks. My backup rig arrows are cut 27.5", Fluorescent orange/white fusion 2.1" vanes, standard G-nock/Uni-bushing with 100gr SlickTricks. The wraps are 4" designed by me and printed by Onestringer. It's a diamond plate design with "rips" spiraling around the design. It turned out alright.
Nothing fancy just blazer wraps and vanes I can say this is my first set of arrows I wrapped and fletched
MGH, Hunter, and Jeff, those are some sweet looking arrows! I might take the advice given on here and get a bright nock or just touch up the back of my arrows with a bright flourescent paint to give me some better tracking. I launched some of the black arrows tonight and did not have much problem tracking, but I bet it would be a lot worse come near dark and at longer distances.
Just tried the Quickfletch for the first time, I probably won't ever go back having them fletched by someone else
this is what will be in my quiver this fall: I'll have them tipped with NAP Nitrons. I designed the wrap and fletched the arrows myself.
Those look great! Being colorblind and blue being the only color that see well, they look especially good to me. But.... being colorblind, I need all of the white I can get on my arrows so I can see them in flight and find them after the shot, though sometimes they're still hard to find if they're coated in red like my first pic.
Thanks! I've gotten quite a few compliments on them. I went with blue hoping it would show up alright in the woods, and the white nock I'm hoping to be able to see fly! I plan on doing one in a "skull-camo" design... it should have alot of white on it!
