Besides breaking things down into folders by property and dates, what is everyone using to organize trail cam photos?

I know there are some pay apps out there that you can pay for to organize like deerlab but just curious to what others use or what ways you organize it all yourself.

    Thanks in advance.

Great question.. BUMP.... I need ideas. Does anyone delete the images that hold no value and just keep hit listers or do you keep all and why?

I organize by buck. I delete all else with the exception of cool pics. I name bucks that are easily distinguishable sometime beginning at button. Then inside that folder I use subs for year.

I try and organize by velvet (early season), Hard Antler (Pre-Season), Hard Antler(Rut), Hard Antler (Late Season), and Dropped Antler (seasons End). This helps me determine which Bucks are staying around for hunting season and which ones are around only for the warmer months.

I'm gonna go w deer lab here in the next couple of weeks. Just interested to see if I can see a trend in anything (moon, barometric pres, temp, time, etc...) gotta be some useful data you can draw from it. Even if you're patterning doe movement could be beneficial for around the rut when the bucks are cruisin for does. I'm sure you could set up something on an excel spreadsheet (that's what the owner of deer lab did as well) but I'd rather pay for the service.

Year and by unique bucks. Mainly so I can show others what I want to leave for the future and what to shoot or cull.

Mine are organized by date. I also have individual folders for certain bucks that I copy photos into.

I upload important photos to my DeerLab account to track all sorts of data.

If I was starting fresh, I'd use iPhoto or Lightroom to tag and catalog all my trail cam photos. Then I could easily search my entire library for a particular deer, species, or location.

How much does the reconyx cost and can you upload any photos or just reconyx photos?

    Free and any camera.

Edit: Unless certain features work only with Reconyx cameras?

I don't really organize them that much. I have folders for each shooter or potential shooter buck. Pretty much everything gets deleted. I could spend days trying to organize trail cam pics.
