these are awesome. Check the Mah on our phone battery and the backup battery. Most phones have a 1800-2000 may battery. I have a 5600 Mah back up so can basically charge my phone almost 3x from the backup. Check Ebay or Amazon for the best deals.
The one that just crapped out on me was a surprise. I bought one back in '10 and after too many drops the connections went bad and it stopped working. It lasted just under 3 years without issue, this last one just over 5 months. The price dropped drastically as well, not sure if the quality went with it or not but for $12 figured I'd try something else. I doubt I'll get the 7-8 charges claimed, but a full day without worries I'll take. Not too worried about the size, plenty of size on the pockets of my hunting gear.
I have this exact one. It works great. With huge capacity of 14000mAh, it gives more than 7 charges to my iPhone. The built-in flashlight helps me out on occassions that when I'm in dark. I'm happy with it.
Got mine and it seems to work very good. Ill be doing more testing here soon and the real test starts next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I went with the Newtrent PowerPak Extreme. Should be getting it sometime this week and will try it out this weekend.
I did end up buying one of these wall adapters as well. Read some reviews(not necessarily on he RAV) that the iPhone wall adapters are too much for these. Still not convinced that satechi I had failed because of it, the first one went three years, but figured why take the chance this time. RAVPower® RP-UC05 Dual USB Travel Wall Charger (15.5W/ 3.1A, Swivel Plug), for Kindle Fire HD, Apple iPad iPhone, Android Smartphones Tablets, and RAVPower External Battery Packs:Amazon:Kindle Store
Wow, it even come with a little bag. It may be very convenient to carry around. Looks like a good choice for me.
Those of you who have ordered the RAV chargers, what type of packaging was it in? Set for delivery today and there's a chance of rain before I'll make it home. Don't think we'll get heavy rain so it will be fine for a little bit, but hoping the box is cellophane wrapped or something jus in case
I'm trying to remember. I think it was just in a cardboard box. Not sure though. It did has plastic film around it. I'm sure it will be fine unless it rains hard all day on it.
Do does anyone who is using the RAV brand use it with an iPhone 4? The connector that came with it doesn't fit in the phone. Here the circuit boards are both put at top, so open gap is at bottom. I you look at the outer corners, the top(iPhone white cord) has corner relief notches at the top, yet the bottom RAV connector is at the bottom so there is no way it will fix. Can anyone confirm if there's us like this as well?
Well running a good trial run on my phone right now even if I am in the office. I had my phone discharged to only 5% and plugged it in at 6:45am. It has been two hours and it is up to 48%. It is not as fast as a regular AC adaptor but seems to be working well.
Mine didn't come with a I-phone connector. I had to use my own USB to I-phone connector that I usually use to plug into a computer.
I have a solar charger for my Iphone 5 and it works great. Just have to make sure you are sitting in the sun in your stand
I use a PowerRocks Super Magicstick...works great. I even washed it with my hunting clothes the other day, still kickin...not sure how thats possible but it does still work. Pretty happy bout it. And, its red...like my ginger hair!!!
I bought the knock off one off Ebay for $12. It's going great and I can charge my phone in my pocket. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
Does anyone know if you can plug in the ravpower right into a cigarette lighter plug that accepts USB? Instead of plugging it into a computer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
