Let's talk phone cases, I have a iPhone 5s and in need of a new case. What do you have? What do you want? What hasn't worked for you!....etc etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll start, I've used lifeproof ever since they came out. They were always great for me until recently. I heard rumors they were bought out and I think their customer service took a hit. I'm officially sick of spending 100 bucks every 6 months on a new life proof that has broken on me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Life proof was bought out buy otter box recently. I have the otter box preserver on my 5s it's completely waterproof and I like it way better then the life proof cases. Also if you have issues, otter box takes care of you from my experience with them in the past. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like my life proof, better than the otter box I had on my previous phone. Only down fall is it seals so tight I have to open the bottom flap (which is where the charger input is) in order for me not to echo to who I'm talking to.
I don't have an iphone but I'm a fan of the otterbox cases (commuter series, I think). I've had 'em for my blackberry, my galaxy s3 and now my galaxy s5.... bounced the phones down the hillside, off rocks.... No sweat. I bought my husband a Spigen Slim Armor case for his LG G2, he dropped the phone face down and the screen completely shattered. $199.00 deductible later.... he now has an otterbox and hasn't killed the latest phone.... yet. (he destroys phones with a skill level unmatched by most)
I have a magpul case on my 5S... Not waterproof but good for drops and stuff without the annoyance of having to remove the case anytime you want to listen to music.
I had an Otterbox and it was decent. I didn't like how hard it was to slip in and out if my pocket though, partially due to shape and partially due to the sticky rubber. I bought a Mophie Juice Pack Plus recently and really like it. It's not as rugged as an Otterbox, but it has held up fine for drops On the floor, etc. It's also much more sleek and slips in/out of my pocket easily. The fact that I can completely recharge the phone as well is fantastic, I now have twice the battery life and there are so many times that's helpful for me.
I just got my first Otter Box case a few months ago and love it. Just hope I don't drop it from the tree stand cuz in camo I might never find it!
With the new preserver case I have it's not bulky at all and can easily be slid in and out of your pocket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've been researching these lately, found a open box one on eBay for 30 bucks. Thought I'd give it a try. My iphone battery has been dying a lot faster then I would like so maybe this will remedy the problem. I'm just worried about the durability. After using lifeproof the past four years it's gonna be tough not having a phone that's waterproof. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had the otter box defender and loved it! I beat the case soo bad it was broke all over but my phone was perfect, verizon even gave me 200 bucks for my old 4s when I traded it in. Now I have a life proof waterproof case and so far so good. Not as good of impact protection but better water protection Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Snowlizard slxtreme is the ultimate phone case. It's only for iPhones though. It's waterproof, holds extra battery life, has a solar panel on the back for emergency charging, and is really durable and it is very easy to remove your phone from it when needed. They're a little bulky but it's worth it. Check em out!
I had an otterbox on my old phone. When I upgraded phones, I went with an android model that has gorilla glass and is water proof so I don't have to worry about a darn case and a 2 pound, bulky phone any more. That was two years ago with it on me around the farms and construction and no scratches or problems. Time to upgrade again and going with the galaxy s5 which I believe is basically the same phone.
I have a life proof now and it is definitely very nice. But I'm going to the otter box preserver after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
