Meh.....we've heard this story a million times and we'll hear it a million more. Don't let it surprise you.
I found an article that talked about the Hunger Games situation. They have already finished filming the third movie and had just seven days of filming with Seymour's character left for the fourth movie. It's hard to say what they will do. I also assume it wasn't all being shot in chronological order, so there is probably bits and pieces of the fourth movie that will go without him. They noted that he is a "key character" in both movies.
I'm surprised there is so much info and concern here about the state of the 3rd fricking Hunger Games movie. Seriously what are we all 14 year old adolescents?
Yes, you are exactly right. I'm an awful person and barely a man. Hmph. What kind of movies do you like? Fast cars, shooting guns and women in bikinis I am guessing?
I believe his point is that a man is dead and he leaves behind a loving woman and three children, yet the topic of choice seems to be concern about how a movie will get along without him...... Just seems a bit shallow is all.
He left behind a loving wife and three children.....because he liked the needle....thats whats shallow.....as dan said....not the first nor the last.... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
How many celeb overdoses does it take before they smarten up and quite promoting this garbage? Hollywood glorifies this stuff and then we're supposed to feel sorry for them when one of them OD's? The Hollywood culture is hurting America, yet they never talk about cleaning up Hollywood. It's a sad state of affairs if you ask me.
I feel a lot worse for his kids than him. Great story for his kids to read about.... someone finding their dad dead with a friggin drug needle in his arm.
Did anyone here personally know this guy? Know his family? No?? Then the only reason we know him* (and give much of a hoot about his death) is because he was an actor. So, when he dies, it's reasonable that people comment on how his death will affect the movies he was working on. *I had to google him.
The Hunger Games was not the only roll he played and yes I like the books and movies. If you don't have personal insight into addiction then you don't know what it's like to live with. Maybe Phillip Seymour Hoffman's family might not read what's posted here but others that know of the pain do read it and can relate to the pain of his family. Who knows, perhaps someone on here might actually know his family and want to pass on the heartfelt condolences of the bowhunting community. Aren't we supposed to be good ambassadors? It won't be the first and won't be the last hunting fatality either. Does that mean we as people shouldn't give a hoot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
