No, just the opposite. The defense argued that he was still alive and squirming around on the ground after he was already shot in the head.

He left, got another gun, came back, was clearly in no danger at that point, and shot the guy point blank 5 more times. How is that not murder?

If you go with the "he deserved it" defense you're opening a whole new can of worms. After all, there are people who think we deserve to be shot for killing animals. Should they be let off if one of them killed one of us?

If I break into an anti's home, waving a gun and commit a felony, they have every right to shoot me. How is this different? I think the pharmacist had a shi**y defense team.

They have the right to defend themselves.

At the point in which the pharmacist shot the kid 5 times, he was no longer defending himself.

To me... this video shows nothing after the first shots....who knows if the guy posed a threat or not??? He could of still had his gun in hand? Shoot to kill!

Thats the part that is unknown, because you can't see the robber at that point. I do think he crossed the line shooting the kid 5 times, but I still wouldn't have convicted him of murder. He didn't ask to be robbed. Emotions were running high, and until someone is put in a situation like that, no one knows what they are capable of.

I don't think it was 1st degree either, but I can see how it can be argued. He knew what he was going to get the other gun for, and that can be viewed as premeditated.

If the kid still posed a thread after the initial shot, do you think he would have walked so calmly past the kid?

I think we can all agree the first shot was well deserved, but for me he was a little too calm in his actions after that.

    Actually kind of eerie really.

Yeah right....too bad he wasn't a little quicker on the draw!

Just think, if he was a bit slower...he might be the dead one, along with the other workers in the Pharmacy....then the punks with the guns would've walked free to do the same to others!

I'm sure they were have been caught and prosecuted for armed robbery, and if they killed the employees, 1st degree murder.

But again, I ask, is a threat to law abiding citizens? Does he need reabilitated, where jail could do that?

What does it matter if the kid was dead if you ran him over with a truck? Take emotion out of the equation and replace it with logic.

Actually the punks you are defending are the ones that do not hold others lives with much regard.....The Pharmacist saved his employees lives!

In Baltimore, unsolved murder case are the norm, not the rarity. Outside counties, its the rarity if ever happens.
