Will probably be talking to myself . But just some random observations and thoughts.

Players Championship (should be a major, one of the best tournaments all year)

Will Tiger and Sergio fight today?

Final round should be really fun to watch. Lot of names on leaderboard. Does Tiger pull it off? (I think Stenson)

Never seen so many wild shots from pros as I've seen last 2 weeks.

I would love to play a course where I can hit it about anywhere and it's either going to bounce of a spectator, golf cart, beer tent, bleachers, etc... and improve your situation by 80%.

Is there going to be major weather delay every single week? Will they ever get a tournament in as sceheduled?

Are lengths of golf courses now obsolete? Do we need to start building them at 12,000 yards?

Does eating deer velvet really help your golf game? (Vijay)?

Sergio is such a Whiner!!!! They won't fight, it's a gentleman's game

Stenson is a good possibility, but I wouldn't bet against Tiger as he is right in the mix.

Deer velvet........I'll have to try it and get back to you on that.

And yes, I agree, this tournament should be a major!

    Loved Tigers response to Sergio.

Been a fun tourney so far, that's for sure.

I think it is absolutely hysterical that Sergio went for a swim 3 times in a row to close out today's round.

Anybody still doubting whether Tiger will find his game again after the divorce? Lmao

I thought for sure we were going to see a playoff today. When Tiger went into the drink on 14 he left the door wide open, nobody took advantage of it. Tiger is definitely coming back into a league of his own, still a lot of room for improvement. And that's the scary part, imagine when every aspect of his game is firing on all cylinders again, I still think he can achieve the grand slam in the next 3 years if his knee holds up. He's starting to beat his opponents before they tee up again.

Sergio had an epic collapse, it will be awhile before he overcomes that one. Doubt he ever will in the public eye though.

People forget if it wasn't for some guy in a lazyboy calling in on a drop, Tiger would have taken the Masters... he was on a role and that one hole derailed his weekend.

He is back. And Golf is better for it.

Couldn't have been a better ending for the cry baby! Wonder if Tiger got a chuckle out of it when he got back to his hotel lol.

As far as Tiger? Sure does look like a version of the old Tiger! Can't say the old Tiger is back because the game of golf will NEVER see that guy again. But the new/old Tiger looks real strong right now. He has that focus and look in his eyes again too. Havent' see that determined look in a long time. Body language, antics, etc.. are way more under control. I think his life has stabilized and his brain is screwed back on = trouble for tour.

Unfortunately, people are judging his "backness" by his ability to win a major and he hasn't done that yet. I'd say he's back tho. I think I heard on Mike and Mike this morning that its been almost a decade since someone had four tourney wins before June 1 and he was the last one to do it. He's not what he was when he was most dominant but he's definitely back to kickin a$$ and takin names!!

TPC by all other measure is already a major, it just doesn't have the official distinction. As far as his dominance of old, I think his best is yet to come. Of course, he'll never get back what age will take from him and alterations to his mechanics post knee surgery will have an affect on his distance and creativity. But he said yesterday that he didn't use the driver but a handful of times due to the length his clubs hit. He was hitting his 5 wood 310, most holes didn't allow for the driver. Commentators were speculating whether he was gearin up for Merion in a few weeks at the US open but he said it's not the case. If he can finally hit his driver with the consistency he's been displaying he'll start chewing up the par 5's again. That's been his biggest nemesis of late. Had the Masters fiasco not happened he'd still be in contention for the Grand Slam, but it would not surprise me to see him once again do the Tiger slam by winning the final 3 and next years masters. Odds are against it, but when he's in the zone as he appears to be now, you can't rule it out.

Technology will help keep the game from passing him by, but his determination and creativity will keep him dominant for quite a few more years to come.

Very well said. A 310 yard 5 wood is just sick!!! It'll be very interesting to see what Tiger does at the US and British Opens this year. The British open will be held at the Muirfield Links which can offer some wicked wind conditions. He'll definitely have his work cut out for him when trying to keep his woods under control.
