    He is a fantastic coach and I hope he does well. USC will surely miss him, not so sure the rest of he pac-10 will though. Makes me wonder if USC will have any decommits from the 2010 class....

    Congrats to the Seahawks they have a 35 million dollar .500 NFL journeymen coach. Not sure about that move. A lot of other prospects better than carroll at the NFL level IMO.

    He knows potential NCAA violations are looming in the form of Reggie Bush and McKnight. If those things come through and USC is sanctioned, his ability to get another job would be severely hampered. The move by Pete Carroll is a smart business move.

    So true Brett...they even spoke of him questioning most of his juniors leaving early the last few yewars, but this year he has said nothing. I think he knows sanctions are coming, and the loss of scholorships will prevent them from stockpiling all the all american high school players, because lets be honest alot of recruits don't exactly graduate with honors so they need full rides. He is hot right now and those sanctions may cool USC off and ultimatly cool him off as well. Gotta eat while the meal is hot.

    Where did you get this news? Everywhere I look they don't have a deal yet. I seen where the Redskins got Mike Shanahan For 5 years for 35 Million

    He has not signed yet, but that is the reported money...he cannot sign until the seahawks interview a minority candadite...the rooney rule at it's finest:rolleyes:
