I live in poplar, but have grounds in Huntley and Crystal Lake along with another 400 acres in Shelby county. We bounce around a lot! I will be hunting up in Wisconsin near Omro this year as well. J you live in Buffalo Grove? Do you mostly hunt public ground out that way?
I mostly hunt all the public grounds down in LaSalle Co. Not to much public land around me. I am also planning on hunting alot of public ground in southern WI this year. I love filming but am still using my Handycam for one more season. Planning on getting a higher end camera next year!! Can't wait!
J you should check out Rockton Bog if your driving all the way to Lasalle. Nice 180 acre tract. Not a lot of people hunting it. I occasionally hunt it and have had some great encounters. Worth a shot. Good luck this season!
