How far do you go before dressing in your layers? As in, down to the boxer briefs? Or do you where different clothes until you get to where you will hunt, then change?

I usually just wear some type of base layer and dress before walking to my stand.

Depends on how cold it is...I may wear my hunting outfit from the house to the stand if it's cold, but if it's hot, just shorts and t shirt until I get ready to get to the stand.

There's usually other hunters in the parking lot so I only strip down to my long undies. I don't want to give anybody nightmares.

I have stripped down to bra and panties when changing after a bowfishing tournament. I try to hide by the boat/truck. If somebody has seen me.. I apologize, and I hope therapy helps. :D

I wear everything except my coat during the drive to my spot. When I get there, I jump out, throw on my coat, grab my bow and head for my stand.

I'll hike and hunt in my lightweight Capilene if it's hot enough. I usually leave the truck in my Capilene and dress when I get to the top of the mountain, or as the weather demands. Don't worry, it hasn't gotten hot enough up here yet that you need to worry about seeing any streaking!

I wear a T-Shirt and some gym shorts everytime I go out. If It's cold, then I wear long underwear too. This is what I will wear from my house to the farm. Once there I have to take a short 4 wheeler ride to all my stands and all my clothes are in a tote and are strapped to the front rack.

From here I usually just put on every layer other than my outer coat. On those hot early season hunts though, I will wear my shorts and t-shirt all the way to the stand before putting on my outer layer.

I wear traveling clothes and change at my spot. If cold might wear under armour under FRESH clothes and just change outer clothes.

Depends which farm I am hunting. If it is the one that I drive to then I will wear regular clothes to it and strip down to boxers and change there. If I am hunting the farm that I stay in the cabin on it, then I just get up, shower, and dress in my hunting clothes.

I wear street clothes until I arrive at the spot. Dress in the basics at the truck, put on the rest of the layers when I arrive at the tree.

    Someone KNows pategonia!!
    heheh
Our guide service is pategonia certified, so we get great deals on them. Its capilene layers all the way. they breath so good that it doesnt matter.
It really depends, we have a nice clubhouse at 2 of the places i hunt and a nice barn on the farm, so down to the boxers is no issue. I aint afraid of givin nobody nightmares!!

i used to really be worried about this when i was younger and wanted to just rush out to the stand. now i take my time no matter what, so i dont get real sweaty unless im carrying a stand. but they are all hung so im good. i do however strip down and get dressed back a few feet from the tailgate and then launch the reg clothes in the back of the pick-up. good also if you get lost the tracking dogs have your scent and might be able to find you better if something smells like you at the truck! =-)
