Here is my best buck to date with a bow. I have been after one over 100 inches all season. I passed on two earlier that would have been personal bests. Was really thinking about that decision over the last 8 days. In faxct I was texting some people related to that earier today. After one of my buddies told me to hang in there it could happen in an instant, I decided to stay put at least till 11:00. Well about 20 minutes later here comes a doe across the field doing that sneaky run they do when being chased. She went right by me stopping for an instant at 10 yds. It seemed like ten minutes passed by but in reality was probably less than that when he came across. He was a little hesitant but entered the woods and gave me a 21 yd shot. I heard him crash within 60 yds.
What a relief. It has been a great season for me but was really getting old the last few days. (Lots of all day or almost all day sits.) But, I still cant wait till next season archery season starts..
Duke has the power of the stache but I have the power of a 9 day old beard!LOL It is about to come off.

Thanks to everyone so far. Greg/mo mentioned antler restrictions paying off and I believe they are. It took me some time to get over not being able to kill almost anything.
Got my new Ultimate camo fleece jacket on Thursday, washed it hung it out and wore it this morning. Must have given me luck.
mgh pa- Thats one more for our team on that other site. Not the big one I posted pics of but I like him just the same.

Way to go, congrats. It's tough and we all second guess when you pass on a personal best deer for something bigger. I am glad you were rewarded for your patience.
