Went on my permit hunt here in NC. First day we had a cold front and the Turkey were not responding well. 2nd and 3rd day they were hammering down on the roost but went they flew down they shut up. I saw a ton of hens though. I set up on 2 different field edges and always saw hens from 4pm till 7pm. So now I'm trying to find another place to go. So anyone around my area in the giving mood and willing to invite me out to your property I would be most greatful!!! LOL...thought i'd give it a try. Also if someone does offer it I can trade for a deer hunt this year in the mountains. Thanks guys!!! Good luck getting those gobblers!
