I got this in an email today. Jefferson and 24th is right in the middle of town. 24th Ave is one of the main drags for commuters both to downtown and UMD... Hey, I think I was at a house party once at the house in the background:D Picture taken on Jefferson Street and 24th Avenue (one block up from London Road) in Duluth, MN. This buck is gigantic!! Look at the size of the body, not just the rack!!!
Duluth does have an In-City bowhunt. Of course, not in the middle of the residential area, but where my house used to be. I've lived here two years now, but my dad & step-mom have been here since '91.
what a buck!!! One of my coworkers had a buck like that bedding across the street from his place....He even asked me how he could lure it into his garage...I simply asked him...then what..LOL!!
My sister anf brother in law used to be city cops up there. Roger retired and Sam is now a CO in the Park Rapids area.
Nah. Well, not yet anyway. The lake I'm on is private access, so I'm even more secluded than most of th BWCA. Last I looked about 1800 acres that I've never seen evidence of another hunter:D
wow, had a buddy who went to UMD for his Pharm D. but he never sees big ones like this! Duluth is a great place!!!!
We fish Superior alot in the summer, up there all the time. Ive also been known to catch trout in Burntside. 3 years ago we tried a Oct. bowhunt in the BW, man what a chore.
