    Yeah, everyone I have spoke with backs the merino. It looks like this would be a wise plan in the long run.

    Pulled the trigger with Icebreaker full bottom base 260 and a two pack of mid weight socks. I looked at the ones mentioned but felt Icebreaker was the way to go.
