I am one of about 25 guys at work that hunt...or in other words, 4% of the men at my work hunt (me). What about your place of employment?
Well, we have about 800 people in the building with about 250 being male. Out of 250 there are 2 of us that hunt, the Director and I. The director thinks hunting is sitting in a box with a rifle and scope 200 yards away from a corn pile in Texas while chit chatting with a friend(guide). Apparently that would make less than 1% and me being the only bowhunter at less than .5%
25% Just me and 1 other guy hunts. He is a bow hunter as well. However him and I have a different style. I use a compound and sit in a tree. He refuses to sit in a tree after falling out of about three of them and he uses a longbow. But I do find his stories very interesting. He makes most of the stuff he hunts with...bows, arrows and broad heads. One of these days I need to read some of the articles he has written for magazines.
Theres probably atleast 75 guys in my building. I dont know most of them. I'd say we have atleast 25 hunters in the building which is 33%.
Well I am in a situation where I only know about 2% of the people (out of 400?) where I currently work, but so far I've met 2 guys that hunt. In other places I've worked it's generally been 5-6 guys out of 50-75. Most we rifle only (although I will say they were quite avid and WELL beyond the one day a year crowd so prevalent in this state).
Maybe I should rephrase that. That's roughly 50 people that work here and about 25 that hunt but only 6 bow hunt. The rest only gun hunt, with about half of those being 2 or 3 day a season lead slingers.
i work mostly with males... bowhunt = 4 hunt = 8 oh and of the "hunt" catagory two are women!!!!!!!!! =-)
