?. is it hard to shoot accurate without useing a pep sight? my eyes are not as good as they used to be I`m having trouble seeing through them.
Tough but it can be learned. An old timer I hunt with shot his compound as he would a recurve (no peep or pins) up until about 10 years ago.
An alternative might be something like the IQ bow sight . It has something called retina lock but you still need to figure out what to do with the string. If you don't use one already a kisser button could also be used. It just helps to make sure you are anchoring consistently. I think I have a No Peep that I can send you if you PM your address.
Guy at the bow shop shoots awesome without one. Says it hurts his eyes. He runs into problems when he shoots under his stand tho...
