The political tribalism that gets inserted in everything is beyond stupidity. Even more so considering that both parties are coupable for the condition we are in.
yup...plenty of blame to go around. and yet, we re-elect the same turkeys every time. so, who are the real idiots? yup....us. I was really hoping to find a site where I could learn about archery, hunting, and crossbow usage. politics is everywhere, I guess. (not that i'm not learning...please don't misunderstand.)
That's a risk you take when you either start a thread on a hunting forum titled "Time to Support Hillary" (whatever it was) or open a thread with that title. This post should probably go in the rant thread as a rant about how ignorant it is to start a politically based thread (or open one) and then ***** when you get dog piled by posts you dislike.... Yes I know the original post was about Germ's daughter of the same name but the title was made intentionally to stir the pot knowing the majority of the forum leans right so....one thing leads to another and then there ya go.
Or you can say that some people were too dense ( not my first choice of words however the mods might frown upon stupid) to recognize a little satire.
I didn't read the entire thread, I read the initial post and the first few comments right after it went up and initially the posts seemed in line with the OP and light hearted...it was pretty obvious Germ was throwing in a little trolling along with a legit thing going on with his delightful little girl. I'm still not sure what all the hissy fit was about but I wasn't interested enough to do more than breeze through the last page or so. Seems like a mountain out of a mole hill to me.
“Green” isnt very “green”, wind and solar isnt reliable, and wont produce enough power for everything plus electric cars, then there’s the space needed, the pollution produced in making them, the strip mining, etc etc etc. good ol coal, natgas, gasoline, and diesel are what make civilization go round.
