I generally hunt evenings because I can cut out of work at 2 and not have to use any vacation days. That gives me plenty of time to get in the stand for the best part of the evenings. I only hunt mornings on saturdays. Really I have had more luck in evenings but I believe that’s because that’s generally when I’m out. I have certain sets that are set up for mornings getting them coming in off of crop fields to bedding. But like Alan said I ‘ll hunt whenever I can!!

Was shooting today and noticed my serving is starting to unravel on my cable, sooo off to the bow shop it went. Lucky I had a factory set of strings from Prime, I was dialed in to 60. Time to do it all again!!

Whew... now is not the time for that, almost all the string manufacturers are 4-6 weeks out, a real PIA at work, all the dealers complaining about it lol

We better, I look forward to this year hunt. I just got my doe tags today. 2 for 1B

Just to let everyone know I run a 3D shoot at the Spartanburg sportsmen club. Our last shoot is Sept 20. Your all welcome. Everyone here gets to shoot for free if you want to show up.
    Sept 20 - 7-3 registration.
29- deer like targets and 1 bear target

I have some gifts from a couple of archery shops to raffle off and money shot At a Raptor out to 70-90 yards. Closest to the 11 ring or closest to the center of the 11 ring wins half the pot.

I've been shooting TAC vanes also. I have noticed how quiet they are.

My 3 D scores have increased since using them

Going to pull cards today or tom on a 90 acre chunk I just got access too this year. I’ll post any good ones, it’s in the suburbs and hasn’t been hunted. The area is know for big bucks due to no one being able to hunt there, I’m pretty optimistic there’s some good ones in there, the prop has it all. Creek through the middle, oak flats, small marshland and a couple acre thicket on the east side. Gonna take a lil to figure it out but I’m excited.

Yep he’s hard horn, this is the prop I’m gonna check cams on tom or Monday, hopefully I got him on some other cams to get a better look.

I’m not particularly going after that deer, I had cams running for 5 weeks without a pull. I don’t plan on hunting this prop till October unless the cams show differently. I have a low impact entrance and exit by using the creek that runs through the prop.

Anyone traveling to hunt this year or just staying around Pa? I had plans to go to Kansas, but I was one of the unlucky non residents to not draw. It’s like 80% draw rate too, someone had to not get picked haha.
