I agree. I think they’ll for sure expand on the 3 Sunday’s they have for this year, Hopefully it’s every Sunday.

Extra week is just the start, Pa needs to get it together, they are behind the 8 ball not only with deer, It’s not whining it’s about having the opportunity to capitalize on such a short window compared to other states. The point restrictions def helped over the years, I have definitely seen an increase in bigger bucks. Iv been more selective about what I take but as far as legal deer it’s much better then when I started and hoping it keeps up! Sunday’s will soon be hunting days in Pa, just have to take what’s given and run with it!

 

All I was saying is 39/50 states allow full Sunday hunting and sitting here on my couch while seeing others on this forum out on Sunday sucks lol. So if wishing PA would get with times so I could spend more time doing what I love is whining, then so be it.

Can’t believe the pictures I’ve been getting on camera here lately the first buck with the massive brow tines chased a doe by my stand at 20 yards on Saturday but wouldn’t stop for a shot, the second buck I believe may be his dad or older brother, he showed up this morning. I’ll be out there tomorrow morning

I'll be out in the am. We r to have snow by morning.

The woods should really open tomorrow. The snow should knock down the rest of the leaves. I won't hear em coming but should stand out if they r moving

 

So currently I took off of work the 5th, 6th and 11th. The 5th and 6th don't look like high percentage sits so I was thinking about switching one of those days for the 12th, which looks like a really good day. My concern is they'll be locked down then.. not sure what to do lol thoughts???

 

Ugh I dunno, I’m big on hunting colder weather/ fronts if possible but deer are gonna do deer stuff regardless of the weather. I saw the biggest buck of my life in Ohio on a high 70’s full sunshine day. Just never know. Go with your gut and just hunt! I’ll be hunting hard the 6th-16th in Ohio

 

I think I'm going to switch it, id rather take the 2 good weather days. A couple weeks ago, I went out and it was like 70-75 degrees... told myself before the hunt it was a waste of time and I ended up having a shooter buck 40 yards away, just wouldn't commit the last few yards I needed, I agree you never know.
