I'm an Iowa fan but with the way they are playing I think Penn ST. will get the win. Stanzi is too unpredictable with his arm lately and there are 3 starters that aren't going to play.
And to think. The person who started this thread is going to train soldiers for the war. Tsk Tsk Tsk. The outcome of the game is not in question.... only the final score.. Penn State in blowout.
Penn State should handle them pretty well, but I thought that last year. Their O-line isn't as solid as I would like to see, but I don't see Iowa pulling it off. Clark is solid, Royster is solid, the run is not so solid.
I hope Iowa wins because I think its a safe bet Iowa will not run the table this year while Penn State is very likely too and I just don't want to see them in the National Championship game gettin whooped bad Florida, Alabama or Texas or any other team for that matter. that being said.. PSU wins
Don't jump the gun. Penn State still has to play OSU, and it's very likely (unless their O-line steps up) that the buckeyes will waltz into Beaver stadium and walk over them. Plus Michigan State, although pretty horrendous this year, always gives them fits at the last game of the season.
Penn State hasn't opened up and shown their offense yet, with the easy schedule, they haven't had to. Plus, they don't have to dress in those extremly gay, pink locker rooms. Penn State by 20.
Penn State by 17. Don't forget there is another football team in the state of Michigan that gives PSU trouble too, and its in the Big House this year.
Yeah, Forcier is looking GREAT. Could be trouble with you guys. I don't really care (doesn't that sound terrible as a fan?), because I usually expect them to choke somehow.
Lol, my worst fears were confirmed. Penn State isn't even a top 25 caliber team this year. That O-line is HORRENDOUS. Secondary was terrible as well. Iowa simply outplayed them. Congrats to them for coming into a pretty nasty stadium in terrible conditions and getting it done.
I was in Happy Valley for the game against Temple last week and even though they won, I have to admit Daryll Clark did NOT impress me at all. My feelings were confirmed last night when he sucked it up bigtime. I know he's won a bunch of silly awards and had some good games, but I just don't think he has what it takes to win under pressure. I was originally supposed to be out there for the game last night - glad we chose to move it up a week! At least the weather was nice and they won. :D
Although the O-line collapsed on him a lot, you're right, he was sacked several times because of very poor decision making. Either he's getting worse this year, or the O-line/run game was much more solid last year that he didn't HAVE to be that good. I believe it's the latter. Side note, PM coming your way Justin about a last minute order.
