Has someone redesigned arrow technology? I had and opportunity to shoot and write about Hard Impact Technologies, LLC “Penetrator Arrows”.
They say they have taken Bow hunting to a new level with these arrows and I have to say they really have. By pointing the arrow tip up or nock down, this engages the patented Weight Transferring Technology. Now it is ready to be transferred at the moment of impact. By being positioned in front of the arrow, the Weight Transfer Technology also helps stabilize the arrow resulting in greater accuracy. Once the arrow hits its target the Weight Forward Design creates a devastating impact and boosts kinetic energy as well.
One thing you need to remember that when having your Penetrator Arrows cut you need to remember to cut the rear of the arrow. Otherwise, you will be cutting the Patented Weight Transfer System off.
Also, the arrows without vanes weigh in at a hefty 9.3 grams per inch. As indicated on their chart, are available in six spines, will accommodate 32 to 90 lbs of bow weight and are available from lengths ranging from 24” to 32”. Also, according to the chart are rated at +/- .003” straightness.
After tuning my bow to shoot Full Metal Jackets I decided to try the Penetrator Arrows and was surprised at how consistently accurate they were. The FMJ’s impacted around 8” to 9”, where the Penetrators shooting them with the same setup would penetrate as far as 12” consistently.
Overall, these are every bit what they say they are.
