Ok which broadhead do you think would get more penetration if shot out of the same bow. 63# 30" draw. the nap killzone 2 blade 2" mechanical or the slick trick grizztrick 1 1/4" 4 blade fixed????

    This.

IMHO, with a 30" draw you are far over thinking this. Get a quality head that flies straight and your good to go.

I would say the fixed, but both will blow through a whitetail (assuming that's the game you're asking for)

Well seeing as the slick trick has less cutting surface and no force to open I am saying slick

"Which broad head do you like the nap killzone or the slicktrick grizztrick 2 I know ones a mechanical ones not but which one do you think gets more penetration? also I know a lot of people use slick trick magnums, But has anyone evr used the grizztrick 2? How did it perform?"

If you need more info ,that's fine ,just bring up the other thread and ask.

Neither would be at the top of "my" list for the best penetration. Either should get the job done with those specs.

That's not what I was trying to do.

If there is a specific concern, address that and ask. We will answer, but don't make new threads asking the same questions until you get the answers you're looking for.

I'm not trying to be an *** here. What is the concern?

I don't think there is a concern other than dude wants to know which b-head will out penetrate. He probably drunk posted and forgot he did so previously. It happens. I just thought it was funny that he was so sure he had not posted that question before; first thing I would've done once called out on it would be to check my recent posts.

Have you already done the test and know the results? If not, go to your proshop, see if they will let you shoot both heads and advise the results!

The smaller diameter head will out penetrate a lager one. Also the mechanical uses some impact energy to open. With your setup you good shoot either on deer.

    Good luck!

Penetration depends more on arrow weight than which broad head you use, doesn't it? Thats what I always thought, but I could be wrong.

Cut on contact heads will always penetrate deeper if all things are considered equal...and if no bone is contacted. Less/no energy is expelled opening blades or forcing a "trophy tip" or similar through the flesh before blade contact...but above^^ are right arrow weight plays a MUCH larger role in penetration than what head you shoot.
