I have a monster chill. Original owner and strings. Starting to get peep twist when I shoot. I have taken it in last year just to have it looked over for wear and tear and they fixed the little twist I had. This year seems to be more prevalent. Wondering how you would fix this? And if the answer is replacing the string, what would you go with? How easy is it to get the same nock point and anchor point? Thanks.

Original factory strings will stretch more than custom. Soundds ike it is time for new strings.

Getting a good new string should help with peep twist. There a a bunch of great custom string makers.

I agree with wisco and I'll add I've gone with custom strings and strings from Mathews and I loved the way the custom strings shoot way better.

I've got the same issue with my peep... I bought my Charger a year and a half ago and the peep is twisting... Never figured it was the string stretch... Never had it happen before... Always learning... Thanks for asking about it BlueChill and thanks for the responses guys... This is why I joined this site...

Ive had many Mathews bows and their strings always twist. Throw them away and get a new set but not theirs.
