I just got a new to me bow, had it all adjusted for me, about every 4th shot or so, its kind of random, but the peep site will not align itself correctly, and all I am looking at is the side of the peep site, I shoot with a release, and I am sure I am drawing back the same, I think maybe the D loop for the release is moving on me, has anyone else had this happen, and should I just go to the rubber tube site?

I am new to shooting a bow, so if this is a stupid question sorry

No worries. There is no such thing as a stupid question just stupid people. And those type of people don't ask alot of questions.

Congrats on the new (to you) bow.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with your issue. I haven't run into any peep sight issues I couldn't fix with a simple adjustment up or down. I'm not as well versed in bow tuning as some of the guys on here but I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

    Best of luck.

No, you won't have to go with the tubed peep. Sounds like you just need to move some strands of string from one side of the peep to the other. It won't be a big deal to fix.

You can also "train" your peep to stay in the right spot by constantly turning it to the right spot before the shot but this doesn't always work. I'd move some strands over.

i shoot a meta peep, ....it kept moving on me for the first 50 shots or so , not all the time, but did time to time.

all you have to do is keep adjusting it yourself, or have a buddy , at full draw align it for you, it should over time set itself.

Mine did, now i dont have any problems, and absolute love it...dont go back to tubing
