for some reason my peep sight has been moving around on my string. i keep trying to put it back in the right spot but it keeps making it so that my groups are shooting low or high. Should i keep shooting, wait for the sight to settle and then adjust my pins accordingly? im lost
You need to have it reserved if it is sliding up or down. Not sure how it can be moving unless you have a tube peep,then it can get pulled up if the serving isn't tied correctly. I reccommend a tubeless peep. Mark your string at the center of the peep so you know exactly how much it moves. Never readjust your sight to compensate for something moving,fix the problem and your shooting will be better.
I always suggest you get rid of any tube peep. Those things are such a piece of crap. As for yours it doesn't sound like you serving is tied correctly. Even with a tube peep it shouldn't be moving if tied correctly.
