Yes, I used the G5 for 2 to 3 seasons before this last season when I switched to the Red Eye. I couldn't tell any light gathering improvement between the Meta peep and the Tru-peep I used previously. The G5 is just a tad lighter and in the big picture it is not a Big advantage. On another note Mike is making those peeps in Red, Black, & Pink this year. All the same design just different colors. I am pretty sure he is also renaming it because of the color options and calling it the Z7 peep. Dan
