I just got my Hoyt back from haveing all new custom strings and cables put on, I went with the G5 meta peep this year but the darn thing is turning all the time so I have to keep turning my d -loop after every 5 or 6 shots. Im starting to not like this peep. I know you can turn the string on the cam but how long is it gonna take to stay put? I figured I would ask for info before I order the string splitter. What should I try?

It's not your peep. It's your string twisting. Some strings take longer to settle in than others.

It sounds like you may need a half twist put into your string (recommend a press). Once you get the peep so it alaigns properly on the draw, you need to make sure that D-loop is quite snug (needle nose pliers) with the string so it stays in the proper position and won't spin.

I had the same problem with mine and it is a string issue. Over time of use it will do it again also. That is caused by the streatching of the string. It is normal and not a problem to worry about.

Put a good 100 or so shots on the string and bring it back to the shop to have them adjust the peep and loop. It should stay put after that final adjustment. The shop may have to press the bow, and put in/take out a half to full twist to get it in the right spot after the initial break in period on the string, but they should be happy to do this for you since you bought the string and peep setup from them.
